How Long Do Hair Extensions Last?

If taken care of properly, your hair extensions can last from 3-4 months up to 12 months with proper care and maintenance. This does vary depending on the type of extension you choose – for example, tape-in extensions tend to only last 4-8 weeks, while nano ring extensions last much longer.

Do I Need To Maintain My Extensions?

Yes! Just like your natural hair, your extensions can get dirty, tangled or matted. On top of your normal wash and hair care routine, you should visit the studio every 6-12 weeks for routine extension maintenance. This allows us to check for and remove matting, change damaged fittings and reapply your extensions closer to your roots. This makes your extensions look better and last longer.

What Are Mermaid Waves?

We use the Beauty Works Wavers to create beautiful mermaid beach waves in your hair. This style is great for people with or without extensions, and the effect can last all day.
