Rebecca ‘Becky Boo’
CEO & Medical Aesthetic Practitioner
With over 15 years of experience and multi-award-winning aesthetician and make-up artist, Becky is the ‘Boo’ in House of Boo. Her journey into the beauty world began as a young girl when she discovered the power of make-up and the magic it holds. She loved the fact that in just a few minutes she could transform herself into someone else. With a dash of colour and a few brush strokes, this early fascination led her to one day become one of the most sought-after make-up artists in the country.
Along the way, Becky has been flown across the globe to work in film, TV and for editorial events like the Brit Awards, and achieved a level 7 certification in aesthetics. She’s won over 22 awards for her make-up and aesthetics work, including ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and ‘Best Aesthetics in Hampshire’. Becky is an advanced dermal filler and anti-wrinkle practitioner trained by the best doctors and surgeons in the country, and now medically trained as a nurse herself, Becky is always looking for ways to transform her clients with modern, advanced aesthetic techniques.
Her friends have always described her as having a ‘big’ personality, and she’s always refused to fit into any box society tried to put her in. She wanted House of Boo to be a reflection of that, and give everyone who walked through the doors the chance to feel welcomed, accepted and comfortable just as they are.

The sister of founder Becky Boo, Jessica-Grace is a fully qualified nurse practitioner with a passion for beauty. She works with Becky in the aesthetics side of house of boo, ensuring a sterile, safe and professional environment.

The Story BehindHouse of Boo
House of Boo was first established back in 2016 as a humble make-up studio, trading under the name PeekaBoo, lovingly coined by founder Rebecca ‘Becky-Boo’ Hallam. This was the start of Becky’s journey of making her dreams come true as a professional make-up artist, working on clients in the heart of Petersfield, Hampshire.
Becky’s business quickly grew and she became known for her incredible talents of make-up artistry and SFX. She is often jet-setted around the globe to work on TV, film sets and brides-to-be. Becky loved make-up so much, she launched her own cosmetics line during the peak of 2020, which has become a huge and recognised beauty brand that is endorsed by celebrities and beauty influencers.
Becky is also incredibly passionate about giving back to her local community, and the community in general. She’s not ashamed to admit that she’s struggled with some mental health problems in her life, and she has been lucky to have some truly amazing people around her for support. Now that she’s achieved what she has, she feels privileged to be able to give something back. This includes creating the safe space that is House of Boo, as well as raising money for numerous charities and doing workshops and talks for local community groups.
Becky has always wanted to be the very best in everything she does, and she took that passion into building her business empire and the team at House of Boo. Now, we’re proud that over the years House of Boo has transformed, going from that small make-up shop to a thriving multi-award winning beauty studio and aesthetics medi-clinic we are today. Our team is made up of award-winning beauticians, master extensionists and medically-qualified aestheticians, with a passion for making people feel good about themselves.
